WHY the Smiley? Lots of people ask us “What in the heck does a SMILEY FACE have to do with Credit Card Processing and why does everything TMC does, have a Smiley attached to it?”- we love the question and here is the simple answer. MOST business owners do not find JOY in working with their credit card processor- in fact, quite the opposite! So when we decided to take care of businesses and their processing needs, we knew we had to be different. The SMILEY FACE sends a certain message: We are glad to see you, hear you, work with you and to be of service. We CARE about you and we will do everything we can to put a smile on your face. Credit card processing is one of the products we provide but Taking Care of People and delivering a SMILE WORTHY experience is who we are and WHY we do what we do.

Clear the Confusion QUICK!

Have you ever felt as if you and the person you were speaking to were having two different conversations; at the same time? Being a successful business owner hinges on your ability to converse in such a way that everyone can clearly understand you and your mission! Poor communication can often be so disruptive that we lose customers, partnerships and more. When the communication gets cloudy, things start to unwind in a hurry! In the early 1950’s, Abbott & Costello created a comic masterpiece using unclear communication. It took nearly 6 minutes for these two grown men to try and determine the names of their baseball players. An exasperated Costello finally ends the bantering with a defeated ‘I don’t Care’ (who was the Shortstop by the way! ).

Fill’er Up!

You can’t give out of an empty vessel! Many new business owners go into their adventure thinking they will have more control over their time and better opportunities financially- being the boss certainly has it perks! But as the days, months and years roll by, many of us end up spending way more than our 40 hours per week crafting our businesses and if we are not careful- we end up with very little personal time. After 22 years in this business, Dean and I decided to TRUST what we had created and the team we have in place. We decided to take an entire month off from work. It was AMAZING- I won’t bore you with all of the details- but let me hit the highlights and

Why We Work

Two weeks ago, a member of our staff got one of the worst calls you can get as a Mother- your child was involved in a motorcycle accident. She left immediately and I watched in awe as my team wrapped their arms around her- hoping and praying for the best. It doesn’t matter what your J O B is – we all work (at at least we should ) so that we can spend precious time with those we love. So we have the resources to enjoy our lives. How you do your J O B can be permanently affected by the WHY behind the work- I can imagine no better WHY than family. Every time you are tasked with solving a difficult problem or you have to
