Messy Flowers on a Monday

Messy Flowers on a Monday

Over the weekend, I came home to find these beautiful flowers on my doorstep- delivered all the way from ANTARCTICA ❤️ (My Son 😊)

 

I decided to bring them to work, so I set them on the edge of the bed of my truck so I wouldn’t forget them. 

 

The next morning, I overslept and never even saw the flowers as I rushed to get to Toastmasters in time. 

 

As I was pulling out of my driveway, I heard the flowers fall into the bed of the truck!!

 

My first thought was GRATITUDE– because they fell in instead of out of the truck!!  I climbed into the bed of the truck and put all the flowers back in the vase. 

 

Here are the lessons I gathered as a result-

1- Lots of things start off beautiful.

 

2- Sometimes life tosses in some challenges or people do the unexpected or you make a wrong turn- and your ‘flowers’ get messed up.

 

3- The flowers still have value even though they went for a ride in the back of the Raptor – which is to say- even through life’s twists and turns (expected or not) we can still find the beauty!!
